I realized that I started my blog last year on Easter, so, I guess I’d better pick it back up again. Feel free to share with your friends. I will try to do better from now on.
As a reminder, overly critical or negative posts will be removed. I don’t mind a difference of opinion on here, but being nasty will not be tolerated.
But for now it is Easter, so here’s a video you can watch to make your Easter special in whatever way you spend it.
I’ll try to post something interesting to talk about tomorrow.
I agree it’s a lovely version, but Jeff Buckley still takes some beating in my opinion https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1mBjkYIs8VY – he played it several ways – perhaps different every single time – and it’s still beautiful. Where is the line between a voice and an instrument?
Music is truly in the ear of the be . . . listener?
I like the Jeff Buckley version better myself. However, I had posted it elsewhere, so I posted this one so as not to have a repeat. There is also a Jon Bon Jovi version that people like. The voice is an instrument. The sound of some voices, whether they are singing or not, can be soothing or grating.
